EDS stands for EBSCO Discovery Service. EDS provides an easy search platform to users where they can search in almost all the resources that the Library subscribes to in one easy search. EDS can search inside journals/databases for journal articles.
Since January 2023, we have no longer used a traditional Library Catalogue like Sierra. We now use OCLC WorldCat Discovery, which is much the same as EDS. OCLC provides an entire Library Management Service called WorldShare Management Services, which we subscribed to, and WorldCat Discovery is part of that Service. EDS will be phased out in due course.
