To download exam papers

  1. Go to NWU Examination Papers: 2021-Onward
  2. Follow the steps in this tutorial.

The exam papers are indexed in different periods. If you cannot find your paper in the database from 2021 onward, search in the older databases.

Important notice:

  • Exam papers: 2003 - 2008, 2009 - 2014 and 2015 - 2020
  • The Library uploads the exam papers that we receive from the Exam Office.
  • NO MEMORANDUMS are included as we do not receive them from the Exam Office.
  • No multiple-choice questions are included. They are taken out upon request from the Exam Office.
  • Some lecturers prefer not to make their old exam papers available via this database.
  • You must search under the old and new course codes if your course code changes, or try searching under the subject.

If you are struggling to find papers, please make an online appointment with one of our Undergraduate Support Librarians at https://nwu.libcal.com/appointments/online so that they can assist you with your search. You are also welcome to ask for assistance at any of our help desks.

  4. I've been trying to access the Exam papers database, but I keep getting the same error code: "HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable."

  5. Ms. Elize the past paper examination site is down. Please try it on your side. We are seeing an error on our side. I last made use of the site on the 24th of May 2024, and it worked perfectly.
