Follow the manual below on how to download and install EndNote:

Please note that the EndNote 2025 Windows version is provided as an .exe file, and the EndNote license key is embedded in the file. Unlike the EndNote 21 version, it is no longer necessary to download a separate license key file in the .zip archive.

EndNote can also be downloaded from the following platforms:

  • The product is installed on Citrix-compliant devices and should be available on the Information Commons and Lab computers. Contact your Student IT Support to access Citrix on your device.
  • eFundi - Log into eFundi and click on Library>Resources>EndNote. (The Library site is a "Joinable site" for all NWU students and staff. Read here how to join the site.)
  • IT Services -  Software Downloads (NWU staff ONLY)

Our Research and Open Scholarship Librarians also provide assistance and training on EndNote.

  3. Thank you very much!Very useful information, though the links to Library resources on the topic doesn't work for some reason, for instance, the link to EndNote LibGuide. 4/03/2024 - Artem, thank you for the comment - I corrected the link to EndNote.
